  • Hands on Head Chef Role

Salary £25000 – £27000 dependant on experience

The Suitable Person:

  • Experienced as Senior Sous / Head Chef in the 2 rosette or award winning restaurants
  • Experience in running 2 rosette Restaurants
  • Strong self-starter
  • Team Player
  • The drive and ambition to succeed
  • Strong financial understanding, able to work within budget

Shifts will include evenings and weekends

The Peacock Room is one of the most popular Restaurants in the area, boasting a 100 cover 2 rosette fine dining restaurant. The venue as well as popular with diners is also becoming an exclusive wedding venue.

Crimble Hall, in Bamford, Rochdale is looking for a CDP Chef to join the Conservatory Grill kitchen. The hours will include weekends and evenings.

The candidates must be adaptable, experienced at working with fresh produce and be able to produce high quality dishes under pressure.   A keen interest and passion for food is required.

Working right across the spectrum from high turnover English Grill – function catering, Italian to AA Rosette standard, this is a varied and interesting role, with many previous post holders now working with us at Head Chef level.

The geographical areas covered are Rochdale and Huddersfield, although this may change if additional properties are purchased.

The right candidate must be used to working with fresh produce and have wide ranging skills to be able to adapt to all our different menus and kitchens. You must therefore be a skilled chef with a positive can do attitude who can settle with a variety of personalities

A car driver / owner is essential.

Butchery Apprentice – The Deckers Group Butchery

An amazing opportunity has arisen to learn a trade for life – Butchery.

Although not for everyone, if you can learn the trade of butchery you will have a good chance of always being employed as well as being on many short skill immigration lists around the world.  We are looking for a committed apprentice who wants to invest in their future.  This really is a rare opportunity to learn a trade and earn at the same time.

The role has early starts, but early finishes and some Saturday working.  You will study Meat & Poultry (Level 2) Apprenticeship through day release in Leeds (funding for travel provided).

If you can show a positive attitude and work ethic, an understanding of what is involved as well as being a team player then this could be the right opportunity for you.

Pay is negotiable but we pay above government apprentice rates.

Deckers Butchery

Due to business expansion within our Butchery we are looking for part time assistance within the order processing team.

 

The role will involve processing orders from initial order through to invoice and payment, booking in deliveries and general office duties i.e. answering the phone, email and filing.

 

The right person must have accurate PC skills and great customer service skills both written and verbal, along with the ability to work within a small team. The working environment is within the butchery department.

 

Hours will usually be 11.30 – 2.30 with the ability to do 7.00 – 2.30 to cover holidays.
